📣 Head Groom / Yard Manager – Full Time

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Groom / Yard Manager to join our friendly eventing and livery yard. This is a full-time position for someone who enjoys taking pride in the daily running of a professional yard and working as part of a supportive team. The role is primarily yard-based, with the opportunity to travel to some shows and competitions.

What the role involves:

• Overseeing and managing the day-to-day running of the yard

• Working collaboratively with the existing team to ensure high standards of horse welfare

• Confident and competent handling of fit, young, and competition horses

• Carrying out all general yard duties

• Ensuring smooth organisation, communication, and yard presentation

• Occasional travel to shows and competitions

Essential skills:

• A positive, can-do attitude

• Experience with competition horses

• Proficient in clipping, plaiting, trimming, and turnout to a high standard

• Good organisational and communication skills

​

Training & Development:
